Thin Section Deep Groove Ball Bearings Overview
Type C thin-section deep groove ball bearings are single-row radial-contact bearings with extra-deep raceways. Bearings in the same series retain a constant cross-section as bore and outside diameter increase, simplifying surrounding component design while reducing system size and weight.
HK-prefix models include open and sealed configurations. The structure chart shows the available section families, allowing designers to match installation space, protection and load requirements without changing the equal-section design principle.
Clearance and Axial Load Capability
Type C bearings operate best with controlled working radial clearance. Mounting interference, temperature differences and shaft-to-housing misalignment all affect the final clearance. Designs without filling slots can carry axial loads in both directions in addition to radial load.

Open, Sealed and Cage Options
