Metric Miniature Deep Groove Ball Bearings
Compact, low-friction radial bearings for precision mechanisms, miniature motors and space-limited equipment.
Bore range: 2-9 mm
Design: Single-row deep groove
Metric Miniature Deep Groove Ball Bearings Overview
Metric miniature deep groove ball bearings are compact single-row radial bearings developed for applications where installation space, running accuracy, low friction and quiet operation are important. Their deep raceway geometry supports radial loads and moderate axial loads in both directions while maintaining low starting and running torque.
The series includes open, metal-shielded and sealed designs, together with flanged outer-ring versions for simplified axial location in compact housings. The product range covers bore diameters from 2 mm to 9 mm and includes 67, 68, 69, 60, 62, 63 and MR-type miniature designations, depending on size and construction.
Key Features
- Compact radial cross-section for miniature and space-constrained assemblies.
- Deep raceway geometry for radial loads and moderate axial loads in either direction.
- Low friction torque, supporting smooth starting and high-speed operation.
- Open, shielded and sealed configurations for different contamination and lubrication conditions.
- Optional flanged outer ring for easier axial positioning and housing retention.
- Multiple cage, clearance, vibration and precision options available according to operating requirements.
- Chrome-steel and stainless-steel variants are available for selected sizes, subject to confirmation.
Design Variants

Open, shielded and sealed metric miniature bearing designs
Open bearings: Lowest drag and easy relubrication where the operating environment is clean.
Shielded bearings: Metal shields help retain lubricant and reduce entry of larger contaminants with minimal effect on speed.
Sealed bearings: Contact or low-friction seals provide improved protection for contaminated or maintenance-free applications.
Flanged bearings: An integral outer-ring flange simplifies axial location and can reduce housing machining requirements.
Suffix and Configuration Guide

Applications & Selection
Typical Applications
- Miniature electric motors, fans and compact drive units
- Precision instruments, measuring devices and optical mechanisms
- Office equipment, printers and small electromechanical assemblies
- Medical, laboratory and dental equipment
- Robotics, automation modules and miniature transmission systems
- Household appliances, power tools and compact consumer products
Selection Notes
- Select the internal clearance and precision grade according to shaft fit, housing fit, speed, temperature and running-accuracy requirements.
- Use shielded or sealed variants when lubricant retention and contamination protection are required; verify the resulting speed capability.
- Choose a flanged outer ring where simplified axial location or reduced housing machining is beneficial.
- Confirm lubricant type, operating temperature, vibration/noise grade and starting torque for sensitive miniature mechanisms.
- For interchangeable selection, verify dimensions and technical performance rather than relying only on competitor cross-reference tables.
