With their low weight, high rigidity, effective sealing, and space-saving design, constant-section thin-wall bearings have become key components in medical equipment. Our company developed this deep-groove constant-section bearing specifically for a major overseas medical-equipment manufacturer. What began as a trial order for six samples has grown into annual demand for 5,000 units, laying a solid foundation for the expansion of our constant-section bearing product line.

Thin-Wall Precision Ball Bearing

This constant-section thin-wall bearing is manufactured from high-precision bearing steel. Precision machining and heat treatment improve its wear and corrosion resistance, enabling it to withstand frequent exposure to blood, sterilizing agents such as ethylene oxide, and high-temperature sterilization. A brass cage further reduces friction and improves stability at high speeds.

Its thin-wall design substantially reduces weight while maintaining high rigidity. It supports the miniaturization of medical equipment without sacrificing load capacity. With a cross-section width of only 6.35 mm and a bore diameter of 279.4 mm, it can efficiently support high-speed separation operations.

Thin-Wall Precision Ball Bearing

The outer ring, inner ring, steel balls, and cage comply with the restricted-substance limits of the EU RoHS Directive and REACH Regulation, making the product highly valued by overseas customers.

As precision medicine advances, constant-section thin-wall bearings are evolving toward greater functional integration. Composite materials, such as ceramic-steel hybrids, and customized designs will further improve environmental adaptability and meet the needs of extreme sterilization conditions and personalized treatment equipment.
